more random thoughts about the night of june 4 2004

i was reading the tribute to officer sawyers on the officer down web sight and all my feelings of anger towards the monster who destroyed not only a families innocence but also a communities innocence came flooding back. how do you explain to a 3 year old who so desperatly wanted to go for a walk on june 5th that there would be no walk that night because i did not feel safe enough to walk her down to the park. the suspect who did this horrific act lived in my mobile home park right across from where i would have taken my niece.how do you explain to a 3 year old what is going on when she sees all kinds of police cars driving all over the place. but most importantly, how do you explain to a now 1 year old the reason she will never see her father face to face again ? the moster that did this is still on the loose. and i ask you this TIMOTHY WILLIAM BERNER .......WAS WHAT YOU DID TO OFFICER SAWYERS, HIS WIFE, DAUGHTER, AND FAMILY, AS WELL AS STERLING HEIGHTS AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITY REALLY WORTH IT ? WELL ? WAS IT ? DID YOUR KILLING... NO COLD BLOODED MURDER OF OFFICER SAWYERS MAKE YOU HAPPY? YOU HAVE YOUR HAND GUN. i hope that you are happy with yourself for what you did to a family and a community because i promise you this mr berner once the officials have you in their custody, you will not get any sympathy from me . you deserve to be off the streets and locked up in the highest level of security that a prison will allow. and i also hope that they put pictures of mark in your cell at every corner, not so that you can remember how you got your hand gun , but so that you can remember AT WHAT COST you got your hand gun. if anyone is out driving and they see a car with a MICHIGAN LICENSE PLATE NUMBER YSR497 contact 911 or your local police department immediatly. this monster is to be concidered armed and dangerous
